Eastern Counties League

In the Eastern Counties League, Cambs & Hunts compete with teams from Bedfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire and Suffolk. The ECL captains are Jenny Jacobsberg and Joanne Caldwell. 

Each County fields three separate teams ('A', 'B' and 'C') of 8 players, who play 32-board matches (8 boards against each pair in the opposing team). Scoring is by IMPs, converted to VPs on a 0 - 20 scale. X-imp scores are also calculated for each pair.

The teams are selected by Jenny and Joanne, taking account of previous results in similar competitions.  Suggestions for new partnerships will be considered by Jenny and Joanne.
